What are the different divisions of college sports?
Division 1 (D1)is the highest level of college sports competition in the United States and includes many of the largest and most well-known universities and athletic programs.
Division 2 (D2) athletes have a more balance approach to college and requires a lot of training and practice, but less than D1.
Division 3 (D3) is for athletes that what to focus on academics as much as their sport, it is less demanding and intence than D1 & D2.
JUCO allows athletes to improve academics, gain exposure, develop skills, save money, or transfer to a bigger program.
NAIA has more scholarship opportunities, relaxed eligibility rules, competitive play, smaller class sizes, and a better chance to get playing time compared to NCAA divisions.
